Cancer is so limited.
It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot erode faith.
It cannot destroy peace.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot suppress memories.
It cannot kill friendship.
It cannot erode the spirit.
It cannot conquer the soul.

I got to see Mom and Chuck, briefy, on Sunday. They are both doing well and preparing for chemo round #2. Chuck has experienced some achiness in his legs, a low grade fever (100F), and a bit of diarrhea. All pretty manageable. The worst thing, though, is a pretty nasty rash that he developed ~10 days after his chemo. It is all over his face and chest and looks really uncomfortable. :( Poor guy. It will be good to find out what the doctors think when they seem him in ~1 week.
We didn't spend too long with them nor did we get too close. Don't want to pass on any germs!
And because he feels good, but looks bad, Mary, my mother, bless her heart, has given Chuck a nickname . . .
